Q: The status on the website says that my passport has been "Delivered". But I haven't received it yet. What do I do?
A: Please contact the Passport Seva Call Centre at 1800-258-1800 (Toll Free) or write to us through accessing the "Feedback/Grievance" link the on Home Page.
Q: If I know which Post Office is supposed to deliver my passport? Can I collect my passport personally from the Post Office?
A: The Postman will deliver your passport at your home. To get the passport in person , take the approval from Assistant Passport Officer(APO).
Q: Do I need to be personally present to collect the passport from the postman or any of my family members can collect it on my behalf?
A: Any family member of the applicant (who is in blood relation), can collect the passport from the postman by showing his/her identity card. However, it would be advisable if you collect the passport personally.
Q: How do I collect my passport, which was sent to me by post, returned undelivered ?
A: The postal authorities return passports dispatched to the applicant by post when the addressee is not available at the given address. In such cases applicant has to collect from Passport Office.
